Wrote It Down

I hear the rain start coming down
I watch it bounce up off the ground
It's falling gently beating on the pane
I run bare footed down the lane
To feel it falling down on me
Sweet cool rain come set me free

Oh let tat rain fall down on me
And let that rain set me free
It will clean me inside out
Forget what worries all about
turn my face up to the sky
and thank the Lord for passing by

When a puddle I shall meet
I will splash with my bare feet
There I'll meet my inner child
There we'll dance around like wild

And when that rain starts slowin down
I'll be spent and left unwound
I'll head back up to my home
Where I'll feel no more alone
Now I am watered I am fed
I climb to sleep in my warm bed.
