I LIKE MYSELF
 
I like myself, I love myself
I really really do,
I like myself, I love myself
and I like you too
I like to run and dance and sing,
and jump into the air,
I like myself, I love myself
I really really care.

I like to learn, make friends and grow
and tell just what I know
I'll draw it in my picture
For the whole big world to show
                                                                                   
I like myself, I love myself

and I like you too,
I like the world around me.
The sun, the moon, the stars,
I like myself, I love myself,
I know I'll go real far.
                                                                                   
 
Authors note: I wrote this to sing to my children any time they needed a little pick me up or support.  They are teenagers now and we still break out in this song when ever the need arises.  It's a great way to change a moment from other than GOOD to GREAT!
